When a client engages John Wayne Design, they pay for a combination of time, materials and expertise.

The fee structure is similar to that of most professional firms which offer a variety of services from a range of personnel and suppliers.

Creative: requires a 50% deposit on commissioning our services.
Fee for creative work is based on a number of factors, i.e. content, use, exposure, circulation etc. and is charged accordingly at the discretion of JWD.
Final Digital Production: strictly 50% deposit, balance payment on delivery, i.e. payment is due on receipt of invoice by the client at handover of completed digital files or plate ready film work.
Printing: requires a 50% deposit on ordering, balance on delivery.

A firm quotation will be provided and a client order number will be required at time of ordering. If the client / client’s company has no such system in place then the client will be supplied with an Order to Proceed from us. This document must be signed before printing can commence.

Production estimates will be made after initial consultation and in the case of high cost assignments or ongoing work, JWD will insist on progressive payments usually being, one third, one third, one third arrangement, i.e. one third of the estimated total figure on commissioning the assignment, one third during production and one third on completion directly deposited to our account. For extended campaigns where a quoted figure cannot be struck, progressives are expected to be made on a weekly basis or when requested by JWD directly deposited to our account.

NB: Where an estimation of costs has been given and in the event the actual costs exceed the estimates by more than 10%, the client will be notified by us as soon as is practical and prior to the completion of the job.
